Mistersaplings
I purchased the LL 120 fan along with the Rgb Led Fan Hub. I've connected the fan to the motherboard and the hub, and connected the hub to the PSU. But I do not have the cable to connect the hub to the RGB header on my motherboard. Any help? EndGame
The fan hub needs to go to a lighting node pro and the LNP to a usb port. your motherboards RGB headers can be used for LED strips. This should help http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=173880
Mistersaplings
So I should return the RGB hub and buy the LNP?
c-attack
No, you need both. The lighting and fan power have been split (hence the 2 wires per fan). The RGB Lighting Hub is the physical power conduit for the lighting. The Lighting Node Pro (or Commander Pro) is the software interface. This is how you tell the fan lighting what to do. You need both. However, this also makes getting a single RGB fan a bit prohibitive. It's a lot of wiring and work for 1 set of lights. The multi-packs of most RGB fans come with the required LNP and RGB Lighting Hub inside, but not the singles.
Mistersaplings
Ah that sucks, spending around 130 for one fan to light up seems bad. I would only use it for the rainbow cycle. Anyone know of fans that'd do just that?
DevBiker
If your motherboard has a addressable RGB header, it is possible, via an adapter, to connect the Fan Hub to the motherboard. But ... you've not filled out your system specs so I don't have any way of telling you if you have the correct header. (hint, hint).
