Haha! 500D SE Vertical gpu mount

Hi guys.

I want to vertical mount my aorus 2080 TI Xtreme but obviously the built in mount is very close to the glass so was looking at cablemods vertical mount. It does say that the card length woll be extended by approx 3.1cm but it doesn't give you how how much clearance from the back of the case is required so not sure if it woll clear my ram stocks or not. Does anyone have a vertical mount installed in the 500d/se and did you have any problems?

Thanks in advance

Nathan

Default

Here's how I was setting up my 500D with vertical GPU mount.

I never got as far as installing the RAM because I had other placement issues I couldn't resolve, but I had no concerns about clearance for the RAM, visually it looked like it would have been fine, but I hadn't chosen my RAM at that point - potentially if I picked a large-profile stick there *may* have been issues, but it def didn't raise any red flags for me.
