Default Rm850x cpu cables with msi gaming edge wifi

Hello guys.. I purchased a new rm850x and i found that
There's 2 cables for the cpu.. As power 1 and power 2
Should i connect the 8 pins cable to the motherboard
If I'm using amd ryzen 9 3900x?
Thank you 😊

It is recommended that you connect however many EPS (CPU power) connectors the motherboard requires. From the motherboard's product page, it looks like you need an 8-pin and a 4-pin. The 8-pin EPS connector splits into two 4-pin connectors on the motherboard side.

Ensuring the CPU has proper power delivery will help the CPU reach higher boost clocks with the likes of AMD's Precision Boost.
