Just a short feedback:

I have now successfully configurated SIV32X (with -CRLCTL) and all my fans seem to be controlled properly. I can now bind them to all sensors without any issues, the custom curves resp. values work fine, too.

Many thanks to red-ray at this point!

Edit:
But I must admit that I had huge troubles at first finding out how to manage the tool.
The GUI may a bit messy for newcomers. Maybe you could work on that for future updates.

And I wonder if it is possible to inject further GPU sensors such as VRM1 or VRM2 and fix them to specific fans.

It's good to hear you have things working. If you have 64-bit windows you should use SIV64X.

I am not sure what VRM1 and VRM2 are. What GPU do you have? Does Menu->Machine->GPU Info list them? In SIV 5.00 you can use the maximum of multiple temperatures to control a custom curve. I may well miss a post to this general thread and feel posting on http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?t=140665 would be a good idea.

Half the problem is SIV has about 360 things in the menu! I guess I could consider SIV64X -SIMPLE that hides most things as the CL reporting/control is only about 2% of what SIV does. My problem is that I never have an issue so don't know what changes would help new user's.

Hi all, this is my first post here but am around here a couple of years. Recently I got an upgrade from H100i to H110i GT (thanks :) ) but after I installed the latest version of Corsair Link SW I didn't found any change! The same as H100i. The temperatures were blinking red and the power tab was unusable(AX860i owner)!
Tonight I found a workaround that I want to share with you, as I managed to get it working, with a small sacrifice. So, the steps I followed are:
I uninstall the corsair link and deleted the profiles.
I live in Greece and we are using dot(".") for digit grouping and comma(",") for decimal symbol, so I swapped the decimal symbol with digital grouping symbol in Control Panel-->Region-->Additional settings (I set decimal symbol to "." and digital grouping symbol to ",". After a restart, I reinstall v3.1.5525 of Corsair Link and restarted again.
Now everything is working properly.
Can anyone confirm that it is working? If this is the problem I think that Corsair SW team can correct it easily in a feature release!

I ripped out CL and Asus Suite and am running my cooler with SIV x64 and have complete control of it and my psu fan. Great piece of software. Much thanks to Red Ray.

Any fix planned for the high CPU usage of the SW?

Default X99 Motherbaord

Hi everyone, I have a new AsRock x99 Extreme4 motherboard and Corsair Link does not see my H100i Windows 8.1 x64 but it does see all my other components though. I tried to disable Legacy USB in Bios like how I did in my Gigabyte Z87 board which that fixed the problem before but sadly that did not work. Anyone got their Corsair Link to see their H80i/H100i RAD in Windows using an X99 Board?

Hi AmerCanSIN, I have an Asrock x99 WS motherboard (basically the same as yours), I didn't try anything more than you, but I ended up just plugging the fans directly into the motherboard and not using the USB link with CL. The BIOS interface is very good and setting custom fan settings for different temperatures is very easy... It's working perfectly for me, and I dual boot windows and linux (see my posts on the previous page).

Default firmware won't update

I'm using the current version of Corsair Link (3.1.5525). When I try to update the firmware it says nothing needs updated. Current firmware is 1.0.7. I have the Corsair H100i , Corsair Hydro H100i USB.. Whats the current firmware? Thanks..

Ok cool! I'll have to try that. Thank you. It's just sad that it's not going to work as intended but at this point I need some fan control.

Hi there,

Is the Version 3.1.5525 still have the issue with the CAM NZXT software?

I have got a 1200i and A Kraken X61 Cpu cooler.

Was wondering if I install the latest corsair link, would I have any issues in running both software's together?

Thanks

The locking does not work in CL 3.1 and you are likely to get issues running it with any other software such as AIDA64, HWiNFO, OWN, SIV, SpeedFan, ...! I do not know what CAM accesses, but I suspect it will also have issues. See http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?t=138035.
