HEAT and PSU

I use a TX850V2 with a single uppity video card. My PSU has not been a problem.

I have seen remarks about double ball bearing fans, I own lots of them and none of them are a problem. My PSU has one installed and it has not been a problem either.

I have a thermometer taped to the PSU case and on warm summer days it can reach 37-40C on the case. This suggests inside the PSU its even warmer.

I am using the 300R chassis and its loaded with fans to move air quickly.

So I am looking at the RM series, and they are rated at only 40C, I wonder how long it would last in my rig in the summer.

Now the more expensive AXi models are more efficient and are less likely to overheat

So I was wondering, would the RM series fail in my rig?
