jrwininger
Does rotating the CPU water block 90 degrees on an AMD CPU (3900x) affect temperatures very much? I've read conflicting observations/opinions. Some state that it matters more on AMD CPUs than it does on Intel.
Danelite86
I don't know but running iCUE make the CPU push more power at stock settings. ~ 1.40V @ ~45c on the 360mm RAD. only CPU loop.
Corsair Mike
If it does it would be very little on AM4 Ryzen parts but if you are using it on Threadripper it is recommended to rotate it so the fins in the block cover more of the TR4/TRX40 heat spreader.
