Hello,
I bought Corsair Neutron Series 64GB SSD, but I have some loading problems with it on my ASUS m4n72-e motherboard (based on NVIDIA nForce 750a SLI chipset). The problem is that detection of sata devices is slow. BIOS freezes for some time when detecting Corsair SSD. The same hapens when Windows 7 x64 is loading. More of this: When computer tries to wake from sleep (hybrid sleep is turned off) it freezes for some time again. The freeze time is ~10s-30s. Feels like SSD is booting and I/O is waiting. The SSD firmware is updated using Corsair Toolbox. Could it be that my dirive is broken? If no, is there a way to overcome it? Thank you for your time :) |

The NVIDIA Chipset is known to have problems with SSDs like the issues you are experiencing. Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do unless you change the motherboard that does not use an NVIDIA chipset.
Make sure the BIOS is up to date What you can try is a different SATA data cable and motherboard port. |
