Default 900D side window removal

Does anyone know if this is doable?

Sorting out getting the case powder coated so need the clear part out to allow for the curing process.

There lots of 900d owners here so keep an eye on your thread and your question will be answered...

The 900D's side window should be removable. IIRC, there are a series of tabs on the inside of the side panel that can be bent to "unlock" the window.

900D side window has screws all around the side panel. Removed with standard screw driver. Be very careful removing them. If the driver slips, you will scratch the glass. You can run a dull screwdriver against it with zero pressure and it will leave an irremovable scratch. Happened to me, it scratched so easily I just started laughing instead of getting mad.

Still sucks I can't buy the window separate. Or maybe I can if I ask nicely.
