Constant popping during specific music

I've had my HS1 for about a month now, and infuriatingly I think it's managed to break already. During specific bits of music, the headset now pops and crackles constantly. It is 100% repeatable and the pops happen at exactly the same place every single time. Is this fixable or am I going to have to return it already?

Also, before anyone asks, it's definitely the headset because I've tried my old headphones and they do not have the problem whatsoever. I've tried reinstalling the drivers, and I've also tried different USB ports. No luck. I think it could be an issue with the DSP box because it happens in both earphones.
