c-attack Posted May 19, 2019 Share Posted May 19, 2019 740 Air is a natural fit for a 280mm in any position. Best airflow case in the lot. In a more traditional shape, the 750D, 760T, 780T are all medium to large cases in the suitcase shape. A more modern interpretation in the 680. c-attack Posted May 20, 2019 Share Posted May 20, 2019 Yes, the 540 Air is very much like the 740 and is more of less its predecessor. The 740 got some touch ups by adding fans into the bottom, is just a bit taller for easier front 360mm and top 280mm radiator mounting, swing plexi door and some other minor improvements. The 540 is a favorite case of many, but is several years old now, That does not mean is has less utility, just some rougher edges in a few places.
