TacticalTimbo
3/5 boots, my K95 RGB isn't recognised properly by CUE; the lighting effects don't run, and the keyboard isn't available in CUE. I have to either reconnect the keyboard, or restart in the hope it initializes correctly.

Toasted
Have you tried playing around with the USB settings in the UEFI? E.g. enabling/disabling Legacy USB devices? You may want to contact technical support and see whether they any suggestions for you to try. https://corsair.secure.force.com/
roguex
I have this exact same issue with my K95 rgb. On my new system it's never detected on a cold boot. I always need to unplug it and plug it back in when windows boots. Is there a new firmware that fixes it? I have a logitech gaming keyboard that works fine. roguex
Is it working now? Yes! Just a day or two after I posted a new firmware was released. I updated and now it seems to work! Was it coincidence or did this new firmware have a fix for this issue?
TacticalTimbo
Mine is still unhappy, tried all manner of BIOS options, legacy on/off. XHCI hand-off on/off... tonnes of combinations, still a roll of the dice, as to whether the lights/CUE will register.
Toasted
@TacticalTImbo Contact technical support and see whether they can provide any suggestions you have not tried yet. Does the keyboard work fine on a different computer as well?
kylek389
Same here, I have major problem on Asus GENE VII Z97 motherboard, stupid long UEFI pauses on boot right after POST, I can at least access UEFI, but experience is unbearable. I would like to hear from @Corsair on possible firmware remedy, I will be contacting support before I return this piece of time waste junk. Unbelievable to pay $200 for something that doesn't perform basic tasks.
