Scimitar not detected by the CUE

Hi,

I tried the pre beta CUE and Firmware, I tried the Beta stuff and I am currently running newest release.

Every single time I restart my computer I have to reinstall the CUE software for it to recognize my mouse and for me to be able to use my macros. (also why can't we simply bind keys to the mouse and have them function like the keys?)

This problem has never been solved with any of the versions of firmware or software.

Is the mouse simply not appearing in CUE when you start? If you wait 5-6 minutes does the mouse appear then without having to re-install CUE? What are your system specs?

The latest firmware is known to have issues with X58 motherboard and a few others I think. If this is your case too the best option at this time would be to downgrade to the previous firmware. But first we need to understand exactly which issue you have.

As for binding the keys and have them work "normally" that is not possible, everything is emulated by the CUE software and there is no hardware emulation at this time.

and a G710+ keyboard with the logitech gaming software functioning normally, as a sidenote the scimitar replaced my G600.

I also did something that I should have tried before with the new CUE install (didn't work with the old version) and that is just restarting the application. I think I'm gonna have to make a desktop shortcut and remove it from startup as a work around.

Not sure if these are before or after I found my workaround by manually starting CUE instead of having it run with windows instead of restarting CUE. but it looks likeafter.

Have you tried a different USB port?

Do you have the latest chipset drivers installed?

Make sure the USB port is controlled by the Intel Chipset rather than the ASMedia controller as it is known to cause some issues with CUE.

If it still does not work correctly, i would try reflashing the Scimitar's firmware by force flashing it in CUE.
