aln688
I was looking at this picture from the Switched On Tech Design site, and how they orientated this cooler: http://www.sotechdesign.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/fractal-design-define-r4-built.jpg http://www.sotechdesign.com.au/fractal-design-define-r4-does-a-corsair-h100-cooler-fit-in-the-front/ I cannot find a good quality, nicely designed, mid-tower case to fit this cooler. I found the FD Define R4 case, but curious about long-term negative effects of running this cooler in this orientation. I'm thinking of the possibility of the pump sucking in air from the coolant, with the pump sitting at a level higher than the radiator. Thanks in advance. Synthohol
its a closed loop system so orientation is irrelevant, also the amount of air that may be in there should be negligible if any at all. mount away :):
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted November 8, 2012 Corsair Employee Share Posted November 8, 2012 It won't have any effect at all in respect to the cooler's performance, even at long term use.
