ChuckinSC Posted August 2, 2020 Share Posted August 2, 2020 (edited) I'm upgrading from 16 to 32GB using CORSAIR Dominator Platinum 32GB RAM. What are your feelings about 2 vs. 4 DIMMS? Any difference in performance or otherwise? Also, RGB or not - is it just a matter of aesthetics? LeDoyen Posted August 3, 2020 Share Posted August 3, 2020 just go for aesthetics. 2 double row dimms vs 4 single row is roughly the same. the difference will be haf of a bee's d*ck, and you won't notice anything in use. RGB doesn't matter either. Whatever the performance gains may be by going to one solution or the other will be negated by having iCUE running and eating CPU resources anyway.
