Plan B, grab SIV 5.20 Beta-14 or later and do Menu->Edit->LCDs to Primary

Thank you and both I assume. It would be good if you connected a couple of the CLCP temp sensors maybe 1 + 3.

I added some more error reporting to Beta-14, so please update if you haven't already.

Thank you and all looks to be OK. If you have time try a few things and see what happens.

I think the SIV code is now as it should be, next we need to find out how good the CLCP 0.1.131 firmware really is and/or if it has any silly limitations.

The CLCP protocol is really easy to implement and has most of the facilities the CoolIT V2 protocol has. I would like to see a couple more query commands added which would it close to perfect.

Once I had added CLCP support most of the CLCP information instantly became available on the LCD panels. Do you feel I need to make any more of the CLCP information available?

As you don't have any LEDs you may as well disable the LED ports .

Happy SIV 5.20 Beta-15 released - [Link Fans] now shows Jade blobs for 3-pin voltage fans

I have released Beta-15 which tidies up a few things, [Link Fans] now shows Jade blobs for 3-pin voltage fans and automatically updates the Green/Jade/Rose Quartz blobs as you hot plug/unplug fans.

Quote:
This works great on the CLCC, but the CLCP states don't change. This seems to be down to the CLCP firmware returning connected even after the fans have been unplugged.

What happens as you hot plug/unplug your Noctua on the CLCC + CLCP please? Are they always detected as 4-pin PWM?

Below CLCC-I Fan 6 comes and goes as I plug/unplug, but the 3 x CLCP-L 10K are still reported as connected after I unplugged them .

End users with problems should be contacting customer support.

I am not anyone's tech support. ;)

Do you still have some Superred CHA4012EB-MAH-0(E) 40mm x 20mm 4-pin PWM fans? If so it would be great if you hooked those up to the CLCP and checked what they are detected as. I am starting to wonder if there needs to be a CLCP firmware update .

Do you feel SIV 5.20 Beta-13 CLCP support is good enough for me to make it generally available?

Please report the http://noctua.at/en/nf-f12-industrialppc-2000-ip67-pwm + http://noctua.at/en/nf-a14-industrialppc-2000-ip67-pwm fan detection issue via https://corsair.secure.force.com/home/home.jsp and I expect you will have to show that CL 4.7.0.77 also fails to report them.

Ideally keep me updated on what is happening as I am wondering if there may be a general fan detection issue with the CLCP 0.1.131 firmware.

I've got $1 that says you're tech support for most of your family and friends.

Seriously though, I will raise an official support request for this CLCP unit.

Thanks for dropping by ....

I'll definitely keep you in the loop, I appreciate your effort and input. It's the least I can do.

Ha. I know what you mean! I am lots of people's tech support - wife, son, sister, boss, IT guy at work... And I ain't THAT good at it. It's a cross I suspect many of us on these types of forums bear.

CLCP ordered from New Egg with stupid 3 to 5 day shipping. Should have done it when Amazon still had them in stock. Perhaps I should complain to Ray for taking so long to add support in SIV

Hi Red-Ray,

Love your work with SIV and now have it installed on 3 PCs. With your experience with the Commander Mini and the Commander Pro, which would you recommend?

Im leaning towards the Mini if i can still get a hold of it for the Corsair Link ports instead of the USB ports.

Also does SIV work in conjunction with SpeedFan in regards to some fans being controlled by that software and say a H115i being handled by SIV?

Thanks,
Mark
