Default 2100 White Noise on New PC

Hello! I'm experiencing the white noise issues mentioned here and here with a 2100 that I purchased in July 2014.

Oddly, the white noise barely noticeable on my old PC (3-year-old Windows 7 machine). However, it's prominent enough on my new PC (arrived-today Windows 8.1) that I'm unable to use the headset. I'll buy a new one before I use these; my hears feel like they're bleeding and I'm getting headaches. I'm currently using a broken G930 held together by tape and a short in the mic, which is preferable to the white noise.

Here are the steps I've tried so far:
  • Installed Corsair software
  • Tried adjusting equalizer
  • Tried 2.0, 5.1, 7.1
  • Uninstalled/reinstalled drivers; confirmed they're up to date
  • Changed playback to 4800HZ
  • Tried plugging into front and back; USB and USB 3.0
  • Tried other PC (Windows 7); little-to-no white noise there

What else may I try?

I'm getting the same problem with mine, a friend gave me a new set of H2100's and I keep getting white noise. It's getting really annoying and I cant seem to find a fix for it.

Put in a support ticket and see if Corsair has some suggestions.
