Default Question Conserning Corsair RGB Fans

Hello, I was considering buying the Corsair RGB Fans ((Product Link) I was wondering if my motherboard must have an RGB header in order to control the lights with ICUE or if the Lighting Node Pro connects to the motherboard VIA Sata cable? Thank you guys for the help in advance, my motherboard does not have an rgb header so I do not want to mess up!

Sure doesn't. It connects to the system via USB, the SATA is only to power it.

The three pack that you linked to comes with everything that you need to get started, no motherboard RGB required. Check out the RGB FAQ linked in my signature - everything you need to know (and more) is in there.
