Default NvMe sticker?

Hello all!! do the stickers on all these drives and most say warranty void if removed have any thermal properties i.e do they keep the drive from getting rid of heat like when your board has a heat shield? anyone here tried it and found out?

Hello kidrock,

They shouldn't trap any heat, but if you were installing something like a 3rd party heatsink, I would recommend removing the sticker but keeping it set aside for warranty purposes.

Although, I would not recommend using any heatsink. The drive is intended to run as it comes and will be fine without additional cooling besides good case airflow!
