smilbuta
Hello community, First post here. I am in the process of building a new PC, and am very interested in the 280x. I do not own the case yet. The Question i have is, can the front glass be removed from the frame it is in, and replaced? I intend to place a custom tinted acrylic glass sheet with vent holes and custom design in its place. I would like to do this properly without breaking the glass. Is it Possible to do this? Has any one tried to do something similar? Are there any video or images of this process being done? Infin1tum
i'll check on mine later today, will edit the post once I know Edit: It's fairly easy, just pop off the front panel (takes a little bit of force, but theres only plastic latches holding it in place) and then remove the screws until the thing just comes apart. Took me about 5 mins to disassemble and reassemble. Be careful though, there are 2 different kinds of screws and you'll mess up the panel if you put the longer ones into the wrong screwholes. Best thing to take a notepad and make a sketch which screw goes where. Edited May 19, 2020 by Infin1tum
