elric75 Posted January 18, 2020 Share Posted January 18, 2020 (edited) Hi, I have a H150I pro which I find good but a bit noisy though on balanced mode and extreme of course I just saw the new XT one are about to be released and I was wondering if there is other differences besides the better RGB on the pump. c-attack Posted January 19, 2020 Share Posted January 19, 2020 It will not be the same pump. It is a CoolIT partnered product, so in all likelihood is a similar pump to the Platinum series. In terms of noise, I would not expect it to be quieter. Typically CoolIT and Asetek pumps have a different tone, with the CoolIT being a higher, cleaner sound. The Asetek a bit lower, but more variable. How loud you perceive it to be or perhaps how the noise strikes you is going to be very individualistic. I don't like high pitch. I can tolerate low rumbles. So people are the opposite. There are no H150i XTs out in the wild yet, so we will have to see.
