beerman831
I just purchased the above fan kit. I installed as per the instructions, all three fans are spinning, but only 2 are giving off any lighting, but I am unable to change the lighting pattern. The fans are recognized in iCue, and I am having no issues with my other corsair products, (Keyboard and Mouse). Any suggestions on how to fix my fan kit, or did I just get a dud? Thanks in advance for tips/suggestions.
DevBiker
Are the fans plugged in to ports 1-2-3? (No skipping allowed!) Can you show the iCUE configuration screen?
beerman831
Yes, they are plugged into 1,2 and 3. Not sure what screen you wanted to see, but this a picture showing the fans set to sequential. But the 2 that are emitting color are not changing while the third fan is still displaying no color. DevBiker
OK. Next step ... rearrange them on the Lighting Node Core. Put #1 into #1, #1 into #2 ...
beerman831
Unfortunately no changes. Still only 2 fans looking like the attached picture with no changes. 1 fan in the back only spinning.
DevBiker
I have that same case on my test bench! At this point, I'd have to guess that it's the Node Core. I would suggest contact Corsair support or your vendor (since you just got it) for a replacement.
beerman831
Will do, thanks for taking the time to respond and offer some help, it is appreciated.
beerman831
Got my replacement kit and still having issues. All fans are running, showing color, recognized in iCue, but changing the lighting pattern or colors does nothing. I have tried all available USB2.0 motherboard plugs, tried using different input combinations on the Lightning Node Core, almost at my wits end. Am I missing something? Do I need another device with the SP120 RGB Pro Kit to make it function? Any more help would be appreciated.
DevBiker
You shouldn't need anything else. What does Instant Lighting do? How are you trying to change the lighting patterns?
beerman831
Instant lighting will change the color of my keyboard and mouse to the selected color, but changes nothing on the fans. The lighting patterns are just the ones that are listed in iCue, nothing has any affect on the fans.
