Default Discuss Link Release Candidate v2.7.5339 here

This will be the official discussion thread for Release Candidate Version 2.7.5339.

Here's where you can get it.
Quote:
Please Note you must delete any saved Profiles and uninstall the old version and reboot the system before you install the latest software.
Quote:
  • Uninstall the Corsair Link software through Windows Control Panel
  • Go to file explorer, enable "Show hidden files, folder and drives"
  • Delete the following directory: C:\Users\"System name"\AppData\Roaming\Corsair
(This directory is also used to store custom profiles for other Corsair products. You may want to save this directory on a different location so you won’t lose other profiles)
  • Restart your system
  • Install the new Corsair Link software
8/18/2014 - Corsair Link Software Update Release Candidate Version 2.7.5339

Change Log
  1. Fan control on H80i/H100i works on all selectable options.
  2. CPU usage over time addressed for all platforms.
  3. Logging on multiple devices at once enhanced.
  4. H80i/H100i detection issues on some platforms running Win 8/8.1.
  5. Boot up .Net framework error addressed.
  6. Start minimized option setting retained after restart.
  7. Maximum Celsius degree for “custom curve” has been changed to 90c.

Known Issues
  1. LED saved settings not persistent after restart if two of the colors are set to 0 (255, 0,0) New firmware revision to address issues will be available in a 2.8 release.
  2. On certain Intel motherboards (Z87/Z97) that use the Intel USB 3.0 drivers it is necessary to change the “Legacy USB Support” to Disabled in BIOS for detection of the H80i/H100i/Commander units.
  3. SLI GPU setups are only detecting one GPU at this time.

If you'd like to report a bug, please respond to this thread in this format:
  1. Version of your Link software. NOTE: If you're not using v2.7.5339, please install it and see if the bug has been fixed.
  2. What version of Windows you're using.
  3. Summary - One line / sentence explaining the issue
  4. Detailed description of the issue - This part can be as long as you want. It should be detailed enough so that we can clearly identify the issue and attempt to replicate it.
  5. Attach photos of the issue to the post that help #4.

1. Latest v2.7.5339
2. Windows 8.1 Pro x64
3. H100i not detected. USB Legacy Support Disabled. Motherboard/CPU/GPU/HDD is detected, while H100i is not.
4. Corsair Link detects pretty much every sensor but doesn't detect H100i or its' fans. Also grammar error on Devices/Options "Check for Updates". It returns "did not detect anay devices" instead of "any".

Any tips to make it detect my H100i?

might be consided risky but you could try deleting the device store in the registry (HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Corsair > CorsairLINK > Devices) when you uninstall the software (so it's completely cleaned out) then resinstall it
this worked for me when that happened

they are made available but not right away, like when I start up HWMonitor after my PC boots up it sees only one fan then after a few seconds the rest show up
almost as though the motherboard wont do anything with them until the software tries to see if they are there
just seems that the software doesn't pick up on them dynamically

I'll I really want to do is set these fans to run at a set speed rather than maxed out so the Commander Mini will do me fine

well this issue happened to me again, where I open the window only to see 0 for everything on my H100i so I could try my fix again, it looks like you don't even need to do this when reinstalling, I just exit the software, do the regedit delete and then start it up again and it's fixed

Default Needs updating

1. v2.7.5339
2. Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
3. Fan Profiles not running correctly at windows startup. LED color not retained.
4. Updated from v2.4.5110 to v2.7.5339. H100i firmware updated from 1.0.5 to 1.0.7. I am using two Corsair SP120's PWM connected directly to the H100i. Upon windows startup, Corsair Link shows the appropriate profile loaded but the Fans stay at minimum speed regardless of temperature or Corsair Link Profile loaded at startup. I have to manually select a profile for the fans to become dynamic again. However, it does seem to remember the Maximum Speed Mode. Red (255,0,0) LED color not retained as well. Followed install directions exactly with one additional step(see below). Previous version worked as intended.

Other Notes:
Original issue was: H100i pump and fans not detected at all. Closing Corsair Link (v2.7.5339) and Deleting the "Profiles" folder under Corsair Link in the Registry, then re-opening Corsair Link (v2.7.5339) solved this issue.

1. v2.7.5339
2. Win 8.1 64bit
3. Modal dialog for test email confirmation will not close and lock up if "cancelled".
4. upon cancelling the test email dialog it will lose it's modal state and literally become useless, you can still use the rest of the GUI but the dialog doesn't close.
