tomramos213
I currently have a Graphite 760T case and looking to upgrade. I was looking at the Crystal 680x. My custom loop has 2 XR5 280mm x 30mm radiators, one in front and one on top, 1 each for the CPU and GPU water blocks. Now the 680x said it supports a 280mm rad on top and bottom, so I was thinking of putting a top and bottom radiator. Now, will the bottom one fit if I mount my GPU vertically? Also, should the LL140 fans on the bottom rad be pushing or pulling air?
LeDoyen
the GPU will be well clear of the radiator yes, even with that case's sag :p It's better to set your LLs to pull on the bottom rad usually.. You'll see the lighting, that helps :p and the radiator will be easier to dust by just tilting the case, without needing to dismantle the whole thing to remove fans. tomramos213
Thanks for the input, I thought I'd ask here because I haven't found any pics or videos of a build with radiators in the bottom of the case.
LeDoyen
i found an old photo of one of the builds i did in this case, inspired by my fridge. You can guess a bit the clearance with a 30mm rad. I used fan grids that pop up, and there was still a few mm clearance to the bottom of the PCIE riser.
