I decided to purchase an RMX 1000 because it was a massive pain to try and find another RM1000. My question is: Can I just take out the old RM1000 and plug the cables from it into my new RMX 1000? Those PSUs only came out about 7 years ago and originally had a 7 year warranty. As for the cables: The 24-pin is different in that it has an extra 4 "sense wire" pins. I'd probably be more trouble now seeing as I've already got the new one here. Guess I'll see to swapping that 24 pin out. Thanks alot for the info! Put a ticket in with Corsair support and see if they'll accept your pre-build's receipt as the receipt for the PSU.
