Dear everyone,

My iCue software won't detect my corsair h115i cooling

Troubleshooting i did:

Repaired ICUE

Rebooted desktop

Clean install

Changed the USB 2.0 connector on my motherboard

Micro-USB to USB Type-A

Open your computer's Control Panel.

Open the Programs and Features options.

Select Corsair Utility Engine in the list, and then select Uninstall.

Press Window Key + R to open the Run command.

Type %appdata% and press Enter.

Delete any Corsair folders in the window that pops up.

Return to the Run window and type %localappdata%.

Delete any Corsair folders in the window that pops up.

Open File Explorer and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\.

Delete any Corsair folders in that folder.

Type Regedit in the Run window and then click OK.

Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ and delete the Corsair folder.

Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ and delete the Corsair folder.

Restart your computer.

Download a new installer file for iCUE from Corsair.com and reinstall.

PC Specs:

Motherboard: ROG STRIX Z390-F GAMING

CPU: I9-9900k

GPU: Geforce 2070 Super

PSU: Corsair 850rm

2x RAM Corsair 16 GB DDR4 (total of 32GB)

Hope you guys can help.

Kind regards,

Jeffry

Same thing for me for the past couple of days. Did a software update on iCUE, my h115i was disconnecting and connecting again constantly so I did a force update and after that my fans went full blast, no rgb and no way to control my h115i. It still functions and shows via USBDeview. It's constantly disconnecting and connecting as well.

The only thing I can think of is the firmware is corrupt somehow. Probably bricked. I've put in a support ticket and RMA. No word from Corsair Support yet.

In the meantime I've rerouted my fans to fan headers on my motherboard so it doesn't sound like a jet engine. STILL highly annoying that their own software probably broke their own branded devices.

Did you create a ticket for corsair support?
