Default Vengeance (CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9) on Asus P8P67 Pro

I installed four 4 GB Vengeance memory modules (CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9) on my Asus P8P67 Pro motherboard. They're automatically detected, and set to run at 1333 MHz (below specification). When I enable XMP and reboot, the system starts up normally at 1600 MHz and I'm able to run numerous stress tests without any problems. The memory appears to be working normally. However, after I shut down my machine, the system fails to boot from an off state when XMP is enabled. After failing to boot, the board automatically reverts back to 1333 MHz on the second boot attempt. I've reproduced this numerous times now, and I don't know how to fix it. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

4 sticks? Was this two kits of CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 or one kit of CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9?

I purchased them individually (albeit in the same order). They all say ver5.11 if that means anything.

It appears that I'm not the only one with this problem. The following links suggest that it's a motherboard issue.

We'll see what happens. Thanks again.
