General enquiry

I'm looking for advice, recently (3 hours or so) my PSU had a burning smell, then blew the electricity; now no power in PSU (paper clip tested).

The PSU was a 650HX (believe discontinued). My issue is, I got this PSU from a previous RMA (6 years ago or so). Over the course of time the blue sticker on the side of the PSU that states "Corsair 650HX" has came off years ago due to heat and the glue likely to lose its adhesiveness.

Would this void the warranty?

Thanks

Not sure if warranty is affected by removing the decal stickers, but it will be best to let Corsair know in your ticket and see whether the sticker peeling would affect the warranty status.

Yeah I will do. Had a look through the fan grill, seems capacitor is bulged a bit, plus there's a rocky / green material that came out of the PSU

I should have seen this, when my comp was plugged into the wall there was usually a large 'pop' with visible sparks although the system worked fine but that happened with my previous power supply that got RMA'd (corsair 620HX).
