So I have seen and read a lot about connect the aio to the CPU_FAN OR AIO_FAN header on my mobo. Which is the correct way of doing this, I know the instructions says to connect to cpu header but then I see a lot of pro youtubers connect it to the aio header? I have a 4 pin Y splitter for the AIO fans that I can connect to the cpu fan header. So can any one give me any feed back on what's the correct and best way to connect this AIO. Thanks in advance. DevBiker Posted December 28, 2018 Share Posted December 28, 2018 The fan header cable on the Pro coolers only provides a tach signal to prevent a CPU_FAN warning. That's why it's recommended to go on the CPU_FAN header; it'll also give you a warning in the event of total pump failure. And your radiator fans should be connected to the cooler's fan controller.
