Default Memory problem, apps freeze :(

Hey guys, just having a few problems with my new RAM

Now when upgrading the RAM i also upgraded my board as my old one died so i made the move to DDR3 but now when running programs that i used to run with my old board and memory they lag horribly to the point where the whole app will crash and all other including windows media player will freeze too until the high powered app is closed..or well force closed :/

Now this memory is supposed to be a stock clock of 1600Mhz however my board is under clocking it to 1333MHz I can change this to 1600MHz with manual settings..but I still get the epic lag on my apps.

Any help would be very appreciated :)

Your CPU only supports DDR1333 and why its running at that speed to run it higher you would need to over clock the CPU.
