Default Corsair RM850x 850W Power Supply compatability?

Hi Im looking at buying the Corsair RM850x 850W Power Supply Fully Modular 80 Plus Gold.
However Im building with an Intel i7 7700k CPU.The website says the PSU is only compatible with 6th generation Intel's. Will it be compatible with my build?

Thanks

Yes, it will be fine.

Kaby Lake wasn't out when that PSU was released so it's not on the packaging.

It's all in the motherboard headers and connectors - 8 pin CPU/24 pin ATX. Haswell added some low-power modes.
