Dobbi
Hi, I've been looking into getting a custom water block for my Graphics card and I was unsure if my current Graphics card would be compatible with the Hydro X series. My current graphics card is a Gigabyte RTX 2080 Gaming OC 8GB, from what I've seen online of both the Fe PCB and the Gigabyte PCB is that the gigabyte PCB has 2 4 Pin headers on the top right side of the PCB next to the PCI-e cables. Thanks in advance.
Corsair Employee Corsair GregX Posted March 15, 2020 Corsair Employee Share Posted March 15, 2020 Hi, Afraid it won't work with any of the XG7 GPU water blocks. There are a few differences that make the Gigabyte models incompatible. As you spotted correctly, there are 2 additional headers and in some variants of Gigabyte PCBA layout, there are even other differentiations. To check for compatibility, I would warmly suggest using the Hydro X GPU compatibility check.
