blade7658
After looking around the forum, it appears my new K57 (which isn't on the prefix pick list btw) and Ironclaw RGB mouse don't go to sleep if USB is plugged in. They advertise it goes to sleep, but a non-starter if that is only true when unplugged (computer is in my bedroom and need them to turn off automatically). Before I return these and go with another company, I wanted to confirm I am not doing something wrong. Thanks! Scott
blade7658
Any chance anybody has solved this or is it time to return them? Thanks
c-attack
Presumably because they are wireless and that is their charge cable as well. I can try later tonight with both, but I suspect the issue is related. Normal wired mice and keyboards don’t sleep, except when the PC goes into S3 for the entire system. Even then, most MBs still provide usb power in that state. The sleep state is a battery saving tool.
