Hammi
Hello all I have the ax860i and I am getting random power loss - then red light on the psu. It happens when I have not used my pc for a few days. If I use my pc regular this does not happen, only when it has been a few days, I power up and game for say 1hr then shut down total loss of power, Wait 5 mins cycle the power and we have a green light on the psu and then no further problem. I have tried my old tx850m back in and no shut down at all. So any ideas ? should I return to scan for a replacement only had the psu a couple of weeks. peanutz94
Yes, I would exchange it if anything just to be on the safe side. Especially since your other PSU works fine.
Hammi
That is what I was thinking too. Contacted Scan let's see what they say, If not RMA with corsair I guess.
Hammi
Ok RMA request to scan accepted (good guys always willing to help) I just hope when they test the unit they can replicate the problem as It only happens randomly. If they can not will corsair offer a RMA? as it is a real problem.
peanutz94
Yes, Corsair would just replace it. They would rather just replace it than take the chance on the customer having to send back a PSU multiple times.
