Unless you closed it, there's a big message at the top of the forum which states:

Is this link ever going to be updated? Trying to install a RAID 0 w/ 2 P3-128 and not getting very far. Thought I might be missing a critical step. :)

Working on correcting all this, we're still working the bugs out of the new site.

This is for the Intel controller but the basics are essentially the same for any RAID controller.

That's not a permission error, it's a not found error. That article was written 5.5 years ago and the website has changed multiple times since then. It's gone.
