briangw
So, the only two ways to tell how much battery life is left on this mouse is using the wireless receiver and Windows Bluetooth options? How come iCUE doesn't display that info for Bluetooth or the charging cable? Just find it odd that iCUE doesn't even show the mouse in its app while the mouse is operating via Bluetooth. Corsair Employee Corsair Notepad Posted August 5, 2020 Corsair Employee Share Posted August 5, 2020 Due to the Bluetooth protocol iCUE cannot control the mouse when connected via Bluetooth. And when the USB cable is attached it does show the battery status as it is being charged then.
briangw
Yes, I know that. But it doesn't show you the level of where it's at. So, it would be nice to see where it's at just in case you can't fully charge it.
Oldsmagnet
If it's anything like the Dark Core SE, those two options are probably trivial, because there are only two battery states available - "Dead" or "About to die". In the three months since I threw mine against the wall, I've recharged its replacement three times. Total. I understand forum rules prevent me from mentioning its name, but it has a G on it... I did like the feel of the Corsair better, a lot better, the rubbery grip was good - but the reliability was just not there.
zaphodikus
The mouse does not implement the battery profile? Have your tried a bluetooth sniff app to verify which profiles are offered at pairing time/before pairing.
