raghu
There seems to be a lot of conflicting opinions on if a saw is better or a cutting tool. JayzTwoCents demonstrated how a cutting tool is bad for cutting Acrylic but quite a lot of people are recommending a cutting tool in random google searches. I have a full Hydro X purchase lined up and wanted to know what tools to buy. Can someone please help? polypusher
You know what I have found to be the best saw for cutting acrylic tubing is the xacto saw with the extra fine saw blade. I just happened to have one and did a test with a couple different hacksaws and blades and then the xacto saw blade. The cut was very clean with the xacto plus the saw is nice and small so easy to handle. I have not seen anyone else use that tool but from tests cuts I did it cut the acrylic tubing the cleanest.
