Syberon
I found that iCUE 3.7.99 start to crash after PC wakes up from sleep. This happens not every time when PC wake from sleep but at least one of 2-3 times. On previous versions all works stable.
c-attack
I get this as well, but it is a welcome improvement from prior versions that froze/locked on wake. Then you had to kill the two services in the task manager and relaunch every time. In the current state, all I need to do is one-click on iCUE and it launches normally without the screwed sensor values and rainbow madness. Sacco Belmonte
Oh yeah here too. And it happens randomly after waking up.

Improvement? :)) I think it's not even a workaround because iCUE crashes not preventive but with error messages in event log. Why i should check for working of iCUE every time when i wake up PC? I have another working PC that works 24/7 without shutdown and sleep mode and iCUE doesn't crash on this PC. This means that the problem is with getting out of sleep mode. DevBiker
Anyway that you can get a full crash dump on this? This would be a minidump file. Let me know; I can PM you a registry file that'll create dumps when iCue crashes.

Sacco Belmonte
Here I just tried again. The Corsair service was loaded twice and couldn't be killed (access denied) Only a restart "fixes" it as now I cannot see my H115i Pro. Oh well.... jeez.... This means that the problem is with getting out of sleep mode. I think my meaning was fairly evident, but it is easier to relaunch the program than to have to open the task manager and kill all as well (or write a .bat file to do the same). You shouldn't have to check. Your keyboard will be running rainbows and it is normally quite evident. Yes, iCUE has has a problem on resume from sleep since day 1. This is at least a small improvement on what you have to do next. Beyond that, I am not arguing on behalf of anyone. The constant crashing and subsequent effect on all components has been the rainbow colored black eye since the beginning. At least there is now some progress. My prior crash rate was 80-90% waking from S3. Now my success rate for resume is 80%. That is an improvement for me.
Richman1956
Hello, 10/15/18 I noticed iCUE, upon awake from sleep does not wake up all the devices with their settings. This is evident with LEDs still displaying sleep configuration. Appears version 3.7.99 is currently running. It was running perfectly before this. Not certain when 3.7.99 got loaded but attached service log has 3.7.0.20 on 10/15/18. Below is iCUE crash reports of which the first coincides with the reports date and time of waking up. Upon opening/running iCUE, all is well. I noted corsair service and iCUE are different revs. Hopes this helps with your investigation. Richman1956
Amendment: Same behavior coming out of lock screen, however rerunning of iCUE does not open, a second attempt opens but does not report any devices attached.
