Tom899
I have a new Corsair iCUE H150i Elite Capellix on the way. Should I use the already installed thermal compound, or Arctic MX-4 that I have on hand?
LeDoyen
It's personal preference. At best you may gain a few degrees but it won't transform your cooler. I would at least try it with the pre-applied paste, just to see how much cooler it would get by re-pasting.

Corsair Employee Corsair Mint Posted October 23, 2020 Corsair Employee Share Posted October 23, 2020 Hey Tom899, I agree with LeDoyen, it is really up to your preference. I'd say, try ours first and if you'd like, you're welcome to try another down the line. Just remember to clean off any existing thermal paste when you are re-installing the cooler so it's nice and clean.

No reason to try anything else. Thanks Tom
