LogicalUnit
Hi everyone, I just built a new system using a Corsair Vengeance RGB CMR32GX4M4C3000C15 kit. The memory works great, and I love the way the colours cycle. At the moment each of the four RAM sticks cycles its colour independently. I would like to group the four sticks so they show the same colour at the same time. I have installed Corsair Link, and my memory shows up. However, I can't seem to change any LED settings. I can't group, or change mode, or change colour. Is this a known issue? I am using an ASUS ROG Strix X99 Gaming motherboard. Thanks ~LogicalUnit
gbgt2
I have the same motherboard. You need to set DRAM SPD Write to Enabled in the BIOS and then it should work ok. See: http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=166761

Corsair Employee Corsair CJ Posted May 3, 2017 Corsair Employee Share Posted May 3, 2017 This did the trick! Thanks so much! :D Glad to see it worked. ASUS in general disables SPD Write by default. Closing thread.
