avi8tir
Having space issues with a new 220T build. If I mount the AIO at the top, there are clearance issues with the RAM. Options are to mount it on the front - which I do not want to do because it will block 2 fans worth of RGB. Other option is to only use one fan and mount on the top. I know it will be a downgrade in cooling but would there be MAJOR issues with using only 1 fan on the AIO? I will have 3 front fans, 1 on the AIO and 1 rear fan
c-attack
While there is some small measure of passive cooling across the vacant radiator section, this effectively turns your 240 into a 120mm. Whether that is viable depends on how aggressively you run your clocks/voltage and how you use the machine. The way to assess the cooler is through change in coolant temp (H100i Platinum Temp). The cpu will not overheat with just one fan anymore than it would with a 120mm cooler. Perhaps another option would the front mount and then push-pull with RGB fans. Ideally you would grab 2 more LL120 white to go with the front or on top. Edited August 17, 2019 by c-attack
