Mugsy323 Posted August 1, 2020 Share Posted August 1, 2020 I just bought a new motherboard (Asus X570-TUF Plus) and will be reusing my AX860 Modular PSU. The new MoBo has an 8pin socket (which I have a cable for) and an adjoining 4pin socket next to it (for which I don't.) Sockets can be seen in the upper left of the photo. I DO however have a spare 8pin cable where the plug is split into two linking 4pin "CPU" plugs. Can I use this cable (connecting only one of the two plugs) or do I need to order a special 4pin-only cable? TIA Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
