andrea_garo
Goodmorning everyone. I'm new in the forum. I'm converting to Corsair and I'm going to buy Obsiadian 1000D. Below I attach the fan diagram to which I thought. Could you report any errors or optimizations? https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vA1XezR90SURXbjgVkY75hrbny3hO1sD/view?usp=sharing
Zotty
looks about right dude... you know you could use PWM 'Y' Splitters on some of the channels?. maybe not need so many CoPr's Not Officially supported but there is no reason why you can not use Fan header Splitter cables on the Commander Pro (note there is a 1A limitation per fan header and a 4.5A limitation for the entire unit. so do your Math!). more info on fan power draw in the link below http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=173880
andrea_garo
could you explain to me how you would have done the diagram?
Zotty
I just realised you are Planning to use SP RGB fan.. which are voltage controlled. so would only need 3 pin fan Y splitters.. remove the center CoPro and run fans 5 and 6 off of channel 5 and same for fans 7 and 8 on channel 7 I wont have time to do a Diagram like yours due to how detailed it is for 4 or 5 days as I am back at work tonight :(.
