Default CPU fan with commander pro

I just purchased the Corsair Commander Pro Hub and a Great Wall X120 series CPU RGB fan. I am wanting to know if I can plug the CPU fan into the Corsair Commander Pro hub instead of the CPU fan port on the motherboard.

You can ... I would recommend that you use the CPU Fan port tho. While the Commander Pro can use the CPU temp as the source, it requires the software running so you'd have your boot time with the fan going full tilt.
