Jagdpanther
I have an RMA to replace one module of the original six (HX3X12G1600C9). After playing musical memory modules and using Memtest86+ my system works fine with the 5 good modules (10GB). (ie. the one bad module removed). Should I send in the one bad module for replacement or request to replace the set of six? (I prefer to send in just one, because I can keep using the system that way, with 10GB instead of the normal 12GB ram.) How important is a 'matching' set? System: Asus P6X58D Premium not overclocked but am using memory XMP setting. Thanks
Wired
Matching = VERY important. If you don't want downtime, ask for an advanced RMA.

peanutz94
Thanks for the information. I just sent customer service a request. You will need to contact them by phone to set up an advanced RMA. Use the link on the left to get your RMA started , and then once you receive your RMA number call CS and ask about the advanced RMA.
