wytnyt Posted September 11, 2013 Share Posted September 11, 2013 im always tinkering with one of my computers and was convinced those complaining of repeatedly having phantom icons and 0 icons was a usb issue. i have a huge box of things such as external hdd bays,flash card readers ect. id plug some in and see how things reacted.one of my 2gb flash drives and a multi usb 3.0 flash drive combo unit produced the phantom icons to show,,i figured i would have to relabel my link icons but unplugging the usb devices and doing a cold boot brought things back as they've been all along. i thought maybe this might be useful to some. im going to keep plugging away...;): Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
