astrojohn
I just picked up a SPEC-06 and I see there are slots on the backside of the case to install SSDs. Just wondering what the trick is regarding power cabling - are there adapters available to connect a power cable (the straight-on data cable isn't a problem, just wondering about the power since mine have always been at right angles to the cable itself). Before I start a build, I like to have all my ducks in a row!
Corsair Employee Corsair StormShadow Posted November 26, 2019 Corsair Employee Share Posted November 26, 2019 In term of the S-ATA power cable to the SSD, you will need to fold/bend the cable, after you install the drive onto the mounting plate, it should be lifted slightly to give you a little bit of room to connect the folded power cable. You can also use a cable tie to secure the fold.
