Stu G
Recently been building a new pc and managed to mix up power cables, a 5A and a 13A. Which one would be for the RM850 psu?

Corsair Employee jonnyguru Posted May 25, 2020 Corsair Employee Share Posted May 25, 2020 Weird. RM850 in the U.K. comes with a 10A/250V cord (0.75mm^2). It should say that on the cord itself. Are you getting the "13A" from the fuse in the plug head?
Stu G
Yes, my apologies for not being clear, I was referring to the fuse rating in the plug
Corsair Employee jonnyguru Posted May 26, 2020 Corsair Employee Share Posted May 26, 2020 Yes, my apologies for not being clear, I was referring to the fuse rating in the plug Ok. It's not unusual for the fuse rating to be higher than the rating of the power cable, but it's never lower. So clearly the power cord with the 13A fuse is the one that came with your PSU. The other one must be for your monitor.
