k95 rgb platinum Firmware lighting and ICue issues

Just received my K95 RGB Platinum today.

Plugged in and initially working lovely, looked in ICue and was able to set lighting patterns as per the rest of my system.

Then all of a sudden lighting froze on a yellow colour, tried the Esc soft reset method which worked, logged into ICue which says there is a firmware update to 4.11.25, clicked to allow the firmware update, halfway through the keyboard disappeared from the device list on ICue and the keyboard became non responsive with a message saying update failed.

Keyboard wouldn't work with a PC restart so Esc method used again.

Keyboard went back to normal, then lighting turned completely off, but keys were at least responsive.

Have tried firmware update multiple times, which fails every time.

Have tried Esc soft reset a number of times with varying success but always eventually resulting in either lighting or entire keyboard becoming unresponsive

 

Bit miffed because its new and wasn't cheap... can anyone help please?

Don't continue to force the update. You are probably on 4.05.22 and there is nothing on 4.11 that will change your use. Others have reported difficulty with the update and Corsair are aware. Kind of surprised it is still being offered, but you are better off waiting it out.
