joyfulsquirrel Posted November 24, 2020 Share Posted November 24, 2020 As the title suggest the aggressive polling in ICUE is causing my AMD 3700x to think it's under heavy load and ramp up the voltage. The CPU usage is moderate only about 500mhz on 1 core. With ICUE off and all background threads terminated my idle voltage is about .3v and cpu average 50-300mhz. With ICUE on the voltage is about 1.2v and cpu 500mhz average. I'm not concerned about the CPU usage but the high voltage can be damaging to a CPU.
