strafe rgb Basic problem with Strafe red keyboard

Hi, I just bought the Strafe red keyboard and after installing CUE software and reading a lot manuals and questions here I am unable to do what should be a simple thing. I want to switch on my computer and that the lightning goes to solid red in the keyboard. This is not happening, the lights goes off after entering my desktop and loading the CUE software. A weird thing that is also happening is that going into the Effects tab I can select the different established effects like wave and the lighting goes on but if I select the solid option the lights goes off. Any suggestion? a faulty keyboard?

1. Sounds like the default lighting effect is blank, try resaving one to the keyboard via CUE or reset the keyboard.

 

To reset, unplug the keyboard, hold the ESC key down while plugging it back in.

 

2. You have to drag across the keyboard to enable lighting effects.

Thanks a lot I'll try that. I know that unless there is some fault in the keyboard it should be something simple. Cheers
